These terms and conditions and the web-based booking form constitute the entire Agreement concerning the provision of Taxi service (“Service”) between you and Southern Executive Travel Ltd . Completion of the booking and use of the Service indicates your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement.

Once we have received your booking request and payment and have verified that the time requested is available, we will email your confirmation and booking instructions. Submitting a booking request online does not guarantee availability and your booking is not guaranteed until you have received an email confirmation from us. Please print the instructions, as they will contain important information for the day of travel, including a telephone number for the driver who will be picking you up. Airport Taxis will not be responsible if you have not taken this confirmation with you on the day of travel. 


We reserve the right to cancel any booking where the system has permitted reservations in error such as, but not limited to, locations outside or our coverage area being allowed, dates and/or times that are overbooked or otherwise unavailable showing as available, or where a miscalculation of fares has occurred. We have made every effort to ensure that these situations do not arise, but in the unfortunate event of such circumstances, the customer will be notified of the cancellation and refunded the full amount within three working days.

 

You are responsible for checking the details of the booking in the confirmation we email you. If any information on the confirmation is incorrect, you must inform us as soon as possible so that we can make the necessary corrections and email you an amended confirmation. Airport Taxis will not be held responsible if any information is incorrect on the confirmation. If you do not notify us of corrections that need to be made, you will not be entitled to a refund. 

 

Airport Taxis does not accept any responsibility in any way for missed flights for whatever reason including, but not limited to, breakdowns, accidents, traffic delays, severe weather conditions, any change in travel plans due to illness, self-isolation or restrictions imposed by the government, or any other unforeseen circumstances which may arise. It is the responsibility of the passenger to arrange for any compensation for missed flights with their travel insurance. We advise passengers to allow enough travel time to get to the airport to offset any unpredicted delays. Airport Taxis will not be held responsible if a passenger does not allow enough time and subsequently misses their flight.

 

Passengers are not entitled to any refund, in whole or in part, if they do not wait for their driver and instead make alternative transport arrangements.

 

In the interest of safety for both driver and passengers, we reserve the right to cancel any job where the customer’s behaviour is deemed to be inappropriate, intimidating, abusive or rude. We also reserve the right to cancel any job where we believe the customer has excessively consumed alcohol. In any of these circumstances the customer will not be entitled to a refund, in full or in part.

 

It is the responsibility of the passenger to notify us as soon as possible of any delays they may encounter. If your flight is seriously delayed, cancelled, or re-routed you will not be entitled to a refund. If we are unable to rearrange a driver to collect you at the amended time, date, or location you will not be entitled to a refund. The management may decide to issue a customer credit to be used towards a future booking with Airport Taxis, but this is at the manager’s sole discretion and is not guaranteed.

 

Airport Taxis use their own transportation wherever possible, but at times may arrange transport through third party companies where appropriate. Airport Taxis in no way assumes responsibility for the actions of any third-party agent.

 

Bookings made for service on the following dates will be subject to an additional surcharge on published prices: Bank Holidays, 25 & 26 December, 1 January.

 

Pricing Policy

 

Prices are calculated with the distance, time of travel and number of passengers travelling taken in into consideration. If the customer wishes to arrange any additional pickups, drop offs or diversions of any kind, there will be an additional charge to be paid before the commencement of the booking. All prices on the website are calculated based on door-to-door delivery from one address to one airport and vice versa. If the driver arrives at your booking and you have more people than the car is licensed to carry or there is more luggage than can be safely transported in the boot of the vehicle, the booking will not be able to be completed and you will not be entitled to a refund.

 

Waiting Time

 

Airport Taxis do not charge for the first 30 minutes of waiting time after the plane has landed. However, if the passenger is delayed beyond the first hour for any reason (i.e., stuck in immigration or lost luggage), waiting time will be calculated at £20 per hour, pro rata. Exceptions will not be made. If the passenger is being picked up at an address, 15 minutes of waiting time will be allowed after the scheduled pickup time. After 15 minutes, charges for waiting time will begin to accrue.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Airport Taxis reserve the right to cancel any booking where the weather or conditions of the roads prevent safe travel. This will be at the discretion of the driver. We will issue a credit note and email a confirmation of your credit as soon as possible. Airport Taxis will accept any cancellation, however there will be a cancellation charge of 50% of the fare. There will be no refund if a booking is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the booking unless the circumstances can be proven to be exceptional in which case a credit may be issued for the journey. This will be at the sole discretion of the Managing Director. The cancellation must be made via email and is not considered cancelled until confirmation has been issued from Airport Taxis. If you do not receive an email from Airport Taxis confirming the cancellation within 24 hours, pleas call +441962 440000. No refund will be issued if the passenger does not show up for their journey or arranges alternative transport.

  1. Our company may change these terms and conditions at any time. Existing bookings will be at the rate booking is made.
  2. We request a minimum of 8 hours notice for any online bookings. If your booking is less than 8 hours, please call our office to check availability.
  3. You must allow sufficient time when booking your taxi to allow for the check-in times required by your airline and for any delays caused by traffic conditions. We shall not be responsible for any delay caused by your failure to allow enough time to reach your destination or if the passengers are not ready for collection at the booked time.
  4. You must order a suitable car size for the number of passengers and luggage. Our company cannot guarantee to carry excessive amounts of luggage.
  5. You must supply all information required on the booking form, please use the special notes box to inform us of anything.
  6. If there are any changes or variations including extra mileage extra waiting time or deviations to the journey other than what was agreed at the time of booking, the client will be charged extras in accordance with our pricing structure.
  7. Incoming flights allows 30 mins free waiting time after which waiting charges will apply. Please allow enough time for immigration & baggage to avoid unnecessary waiting charges.
  8. For airport pick up our driver will wait up to 90 minutes, without having made contact with the passenger. If after 90 minutes driver still has not made contact with passenger, this will result as a no show & no refund will be offered.
  9. If you need to cancel your booking, please contact Airport Taxis as soon as possible. We will be happy to cancel & refund a booking as long as we have 48 hours notice. If you cancel a booking after the vehicle has been dispatched then a charge will be incurred; the charge will be based on the distance/time that the allocated driver has travelled/spent prior to the point of cancellation.
  10. We take complaints very seriously and investigate every complaint thoroughly. Please email or call us quoting your reference number and as much information as possible.
  11. At times our company may use sub contractors/ partner company to cover a journey.
  12. You shall be responsible for the behaviour of all the passengers in the car during the journey. You will be charged to cover cleaning costs in the unlikely event of the vehicle being soiled by any passenger. A full receipt can be emailed direct to you or a hand written business card size receipt can be supplied by your driver. *Please note that an emailed receipt can take up to two working days if asked for on the day of travel to your driver. Our company have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who are thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  13. Our company will refuse or terminate any booking with immediate effect if your behaviour possess any driver or vehicle at risk of damage, violence or abuse by you or any passenger in your party. All passengers will be asked to vacate the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so. No refund will be given.
  14. Our company will track all incoming flights, to ensure our driver reaches you at your specified time.
  15. Whilst we do our utmost to ensure our drivers are punctual and arrive on time, you will understand that we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
  16. Our company shall use all reasonable endeavours to get you to your destination on time, but shall not be liable for any loss due to delays caused by road or traffic conditions beyond its control on the journey.
  17. Please note that a child, no matter what age, counts as one passenger. If you have your own child seat you are most welcome to bring it. Please note that the installation of the child seat must be carried out by you.
  18. If the driver is stuck in traffic or for any other reasons cannot reach in time at the point of collection, we will try to provide you with a car from one of our partners.
  19. In the event that our driver does not show up at the scheduled time for collection, please contact our office. If you leave the pickup point without informing us we will not be liable for any compensation to you. If you take a minicab or a black cab from another company without our consent we will not be liable to pay you the price for it or refund you.
  20. We reserve the right to change without notice,your taxi at any time if necessary. Our company maintains a strict non-smoking policy in all its vehicles. Eating, drinking and smoking are not permitted in our vehicles.
  21. All our vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims. However, customer’s properties are carried entirely at their own risk.
  22. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their luggage is loaded/unloaded at all times. Our company or our sub contractors shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property.
  23. If the car breaks down during your journey, our company will endeavour to arrange an alternative car or another taxi company to complete the journey as soon as possible.
  24. Our company shall be entitled to cancel all services and provide refunds in the event of a declared national emergency, riot, war, fuel shortage, extreme weather or terrorist attack, or other circumstances beyond its control.
  25. It is illegal to make a private booking with our drivers. Our company will not be liable for any situation faced by the passenger while travelling on a booking not confirmed with the office.
